Located in Dashti County, Bushehr Province, Hanashur is one of the villages of Tasuj Rural District, Shanbeh and Tasuj Districts. The Hanashuri dialect is a Persian language variety in Bushehr Province. Interviews with 12 speakers (10 speakers aged over 50 and two young and literate speakers) were done. Field study and descriptive-analytical methods as well as library tools were used in this present study. This study analyzed the production method and characteristics of consonants, vowels, and syllable structure in the Hanashuri. Based on the findings, this dialect has 25 consonants and 21 vowels (6 simple and 15 complex). The consonants are all of the aspirated type. There are two consonants /w, ŋ/ in addition to the Persian consonants of standard. Moreover, some diphthong and triphtong were identified recorded for the first time in this Persian language dialect. Hanashuri includes /iou/, /oue/, and /uai/ triphtongs. The absence of first cluster, the beginning of the syllable with the consonant and the termination of the syllable by the maximum of two consonants, are the constraints of syllable structure in Hanashuri. Syllables in Hanashuri are light, heavy and superheavy and cv(:)(c(c)) is the general pattern of syllable structure. The absence of non-words and justification of some phonological processes such as elimination and metathesis are the advantages of sonority theory in Hanashuri syllables.
